Draft

Write with the literature at hand

Draft literature reviews, papers, or research reports from the sources already in your project, with citations linked back to where they came from.

Views

A view for each kind of research work

Use mind maps to explore structure, paper lists to organize sources, documents to develop your writing, and slides to present your findings. Different ways of working, all within the same research project.

“노트북LM에 이어 연구자와 학생들에게 필수적으로 사용돼야 할 AI 서비스. 단순히 마인드맵을 만드는 게 아니라 내 사고를 확장시켜 나가는 방식으로 작동하기 때문에 연구할 때 굉장히 도움이 많이 됩니다.”

Questions, answered

Why use Ponder instead of ChatGPT or NotebookLM?

Ponder brings literature search, reading, analysis and writing into one research project.

The sources you find feed the work that follows, from comparing papers to developing a draft. Work directly with papers, mind maps and documents, or have AI work on them with you. You can return to the evidence, revise the work and change direction as your understanding develops, with your materials and progress kept together.

Will it make up references?

No. Every reference links back to verified scholarly records or sources you uploaded yourself.

You can open the source behind each citation. Choose APA 7, MLA 9, Chicago 18 (author-date), IEEE, NLM, GB/T 7714-2025 or Harvard; switching styles updates your reference list. Export your cited draft and references directly as Markdown or PDF.

Does it read the full paper or just the abstract?

Ponder reads the full text whenever it is available.

If a citation is based only on an abstract or a link, the system labels it explicitly.

Can I upload my own papers?

Yes. Upload PDFs or paste DOIs, and Ponder identifies paper metadata when available: title, authors, journal and DOI.

You can also add Word and PowerPoint files, audio, video, and web or supported video links.

Can I undo something the AI changed?

Yes. All AI edits to mind maps and documents are saved as distinct versions.

Open your revision history and restore an earlier version with one click.

How is my research data protected?

Your files, notes, and drafts are never used to train Ponder's models or any third-party AI.

Your data is encrypted both in transit and at rest in secure infrastructure. Access is limited to your account and to the people you explicitly share a project with. Deleting a file removes it immediately from your workspace, and account deletion purges all copies from backups within 30 days.
